Rhinelander Northwoods Composite Team (RNC)
The Rhinelander Northwoods Composite (RNC) is a mountain biking team comprised of middle and high school students from Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Lakeland, Northland Pines, Three Lakes, Crandon and Phelps.
The RNC is a member of the Wisconsin High School Cycling League, a National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) Affiliate, dedicated to bringing mountain biking to Wisconsin high schools and middle schools. The organization is dedicated to equality, inclusivity, and the building of strong character, strong minds and strong bodies in our youth through mountain biking. The RNC season begins in mid-July and goes through late October. We practice Mondays and Thursdays at the Washburn Silent Trails just west of Rhinelander. Riders have the opportunity to race in 5 races held on Sundays in the fall - racing is not required. Our mission is to build strong minds, bodies, and communities through cycling. We are kids on bikes, we are outside going places, we are stoking a life long passion for riding!
