We have 3 major events we run every year. But depending on the weather and how everyone’s feeling (sometimes we just feel the need to get together) we may organize a quick event or someone out there may be organizing a group ride.

You might even feel like trying to organize one yourself!

RASTA Rally

Saturday, May 9, 2026

Join us for RASTA’s annual spring mountain bike race and celebration for all ages! The event takes place at Washburn Silent Sports Trails, a premier mountain bike destination in Rhinelander. Whether you are a small tyke, a new rider or an experienced racer, there will be a course for you. Race courses will be determined closer to the event. Approximate length of courses: 1 mile (ages 0 – 10), 7 miles, and 14 miles. Distances subject to change.

Online Registration Opens April 1st!

Race Registration (Register online to save):
Ages ≤ 19: $10.00 advance or $15.00 race day
Ages > 20: $25.00 advance or $35.00 race day

On-site registration available from 10:30am – 11:30am. We do encourage you to register online in advance to save money AND do our volunteers a favor.

Race starts at NOON!

Concessions will be available. All proceeds from concession sales benefit the Rhinelander Northwoods Composite Youth Mountain Bike Team!

Come celebrate the beginning of biking season and our volunteers efforts to build and improve amazing trails in the Rhinelander area!

Global Fatbike Day

Saturday December 6th, 2025 at 3pm

Join us in celebration of Global Fat Bike Day, the beginning of the Fat Biking season and our local trails!

The group ride will leave from the Perch Lake Trailhead (Washburn Silent Sports Trails) promptly at 3:00pm, potluck around the campfire to follow. Bring a dish to share.

All are welcome! Whether you are an experienced rider or new to the sport, come meet others who like to ride and learn about the trails in the area.
