The Washburn Trails are open with one exception. Jozway and Hole Schotz are closed and will remain closed until they can be reconstructed later this summer. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with this work until after July 15th, due to the risk of spreading Oak Wilt. Thank you for your understanding. Our volunteers have been working diligently for the past few weeks to ensure the remaining trails are clear of trees and debris. The storms and high winds this spring have kept us busy. Thanks to our volunteers who have logged over 150 hours so far this year to ensure the Oneida County’s Washburn Silent Trails are safe for our residents and tourists. Have a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend!!!
P.S. Cyclists, don’t forget to purchase your annual trails pass! Help support the continued operation and maintenance of our trails and trailhead facilities.
