Our ski trails got off to a good start on the 4th and 5th last week. We received around 5+ inches of snow. It was our first measurable snow of the season. With that said we began establishing the base by rolling all three trails. Coverage on the trails varied form nice full coverage to some very thin spots. That left us with a deck between 1-2 inches. At that time they were barely skiable. Since then we have had a small meltdown, with some additional light fluffy snow on top. The result is a crusty surface that is not very skiable. Hopefully we will receive significant snow in the future. Stay tuned as I will update the trails when changes occur.
Nose Lake, Cassian, and Washburn update 12/20
Received 2-3" of fluff. Basically had to start all over after the recent meltdown. The deck is thin, and recommend using the "B" Skis, rock skis, or anything but new skis. The crews were out this morning, with one more going out this evening. All they are doing is...
Thanks so much for your efforts!
