RHINELANDER WASHBURN TRAILS 02/21/24

Published: February 21, 2024
We hated to do it, but we had to close all the single track trails at Washburn. Please do not hike, bike or snowshoe on the trails until the trail head signs are taken down. Remember these trails are constructed and the trail surface is very susceptible to damage during spring freeze and thaw.
If you are walking on the wider ski trails, please do not access any single track from the ski trail, even if the trail looks good at that point.
Our thanks to the groomers and trail maintenance crew for giving us as many days of trail use as possible, Now let’s respect that work and stay off the single track trails until we can once again use them responsibly.
