The entire system was groomed yesterday (Tuesday). All trees, branches etc have been removed from the short loop. There are random branches to duck under on the long loop. Areas in the swamp have been collecting snow from the windy conditions, so I don’t know how they are holding up. The rest of the trails (uplands) should be good with low tire pressure 4 psi. You will need to ride up the snowmobile trail (just like years ago) to connect the long loop because the “new” swamp is impassible. At least 4 snowshoes traversed the short loop today.
Nose Lake and Cassian update 6/12
As of today both the Cassian and Nose Lake trails have been mowed. Grass is short, and should make for some easy going. With the breezy conditions, bugs maybe less of a nuisance. Have fun out there.
