Cassian, Washburn, and Nose Lake update 12/29

Published: December 29, 2025

The groomers had one of those day today when things don’t go according to plan.  We got much needed snow,12″ to be exact, however along with heavy snows means storm damage.  Our trails were not spared from that, as I am sure were a lot in the area.  Because of the storm damage, it slowed our work, and all we were able to accomplish is to pack snow and clear trees and branches. Our plan for  rolling got pushed back.  Then the Gator thought that when it was about a mile from the garage, it was time to throw a track.  It will be out of commission until Monday.  We already had one sled in the shop for an oil leak repair.  Fortunately we get it back tomorrow. With some improvisation Washburn could get groomed tomorrow.  Nose Lake should have tracks by Wednesday morning, and hopefully the same for Cassian.
