Washburn, Nose Lake, and Cassian trail update 1/22

Published: January 22, 2025

With the addition of more fluffy snow today we were able to groom and set track at Washburn.  For the most part the tracks turns out nicely, but in the open areas whee logging took place expect the tracks to be thinner, with some leaves, sticks, and other debris visible.  We still have s small segment of trail closed.  There is concern over possible damage to the newly reseeded area at Herringbone Hill, along with haul rode create during logging.  One more snowfall should allow us to open that segment.

Tomorrow Nose Lake will be groomed and tracks will be set. Cassian will be groomed either tomorrow evening or early Friday morning.
