Good news for classic skiers. There is now a track at Washburn. The track is not consistent throughout. Those sections of trail designated as track skiing only will have a nice track. For those of you familiar with Washburn, that would mean the classic double track from Kiosk C to G, and the landfill loop, The remaining segments of the “outer” loop will have some marginal track. There remain a few stretches where no track was set….too little snow, and some dirt. The skate deck was also renovated, and is in good condition.
Cassian and Nose Lake were not worked. One simple reason, not enough snow. We are leaving those tracks, as they are holding up under the conditions.
