Final trail update 3/23

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.  That can be said about the grooming/ski season.  We are completing our last grooms of the season, today and tomorrow.  Washburn was groomed this morning.  Again w/o sounding like a broken record, we have abbreviated some of our grooming due to some mechanical issues with our Gator.  The result is we did not groom the landfill loop, and the Cassian connection trail.  Our grooming did include laying down some new classic tracks..

We are going to try and groom Nose Lake tomorrow morning.  The snow conditions as they are and with the  antiquated groomer, we are not sure how the new tracks will turn out.  We will give it our best effort.

As mentioned in last weeks update Cassian has not been groomed recently.

With the ceasing of grooming, doesn’t mean the trails are closed.  They will be skiable until Mother Nature decides otherwise.  We would like to thank all of our skiers who came out this year to enjoy the trails, and we look forward to seeing you all again in about 9 months.  Hopefully by then our mechanical issues will be in our rear view mirror.
