SUMMARY:Nose Lake Trailhead Fundraising Campaign
DESCRIPTION:Help RASTA improve the Nose Lake Trailhead Parking and Restroom Facilities! \nRASTA needs your support to purchase and install a pit toilet and expand the Nose Lake Trailhead parking lot to improve convenience\, accessibility\, and safety! \nThe total cost of the trailhead expansion and pit toilet is approximately $48\,000. In partnership with Oneida County\, we have secured $24\,000 through the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program for Local Units of Government. RASTA will be contributing the remainder. Our fundraising goal is $12\,000.  \n  \nPhoto Caption: Existing temporary porta potty (left) will be replaced by a permanent vault toilet (right). \nPlease consider donating today! DESCRIPTION:Join us for RASTA’s annual spring mountain bike race and celebration for all ages! The event takes place at Washburn Silent Sports Trails\, a premier mountain bike destination in Rhinelander. Approximate length of courses: 7 miles\, and 14 miles. Distances subject to change.\n\nOnline Registration Opens April 1st!\nRace Registration (Register online to save):Ages ≤ 19: $10.00 advance or $15.00 race dayAges > 20: $25.00 advance or $35.00 race day\n\nOn-site registration available from 10:30am – 11:30am. We do encourage you to register online in advance to save money AND do our volunteers a favor.\nRace starts at NOON!\n\nConcessions will be available. All proceeds from concession sales benefit the Rhinelander Northwoods Composite Youth Mountain Bike Team!\nCome celebrate the beginning of biking season and our volunteers efforts to build and improve amazing trails in the Rhinelander area!\n\n\nIf you are interested in sponsoring this event or volunteering\, please message us!
