The trails at Washburn were rolled yesterday. The deck is extremely thin with sticks, grass poking through, and there are a few bare spots too. With this said we are not recommending skiing even with rock skis. More snow is in the forecast for Wed. We will be out compacting as it falls.
As for Cassian and Nose Lake, both have wet spots, which are not freezing over very quickly. We are monitoring them and trying to encourage some quicker freezing. Until that occurs we cannot take our equipment on those trails.
Thanks for the update. Doing my snow dance right now.
It just may work. Tomorrow’s forecast looks promising.
So excited to take the kids to the Cassian trail this Sat. Thanks for all that you do to make the ski trails great.
Josh, Cassian isn’t able to be groomed yet due to wet spots. Sorry!
Correction on Cassian. We are going try and set the track on Cassian tomorrow. We worked on the wet spots today. Stay tuned for more news tomorrow.
