The skate deck at Washburn was cleaned up this evening, and despite the low snow conditions is holding up very nicely.  Cold temperatures are keeping the deck very firm.  Classic tracks put down last Sunday are looking good, as well.  Be advised, tomorrow(Sat.) RHS ski team will be holding a team scrimmage.  However, the trails will still be open, but a few more people.  The Perch Lake parking area will be busy, so you may consider parking in the Washburn lot.  The trails will be groomed again late Sunday afternoon/early evening in advance of the Boulder Mountain race that will be held starting on Monday, Feb. 1 thru Sunday, Feb. 7.

Cassian was tracked on last Monday.  The southern stretches up to Timber Lake Road are rough, again lack of snow.  Conditions improve as you would head north.

Nose Lake was last tracked on Sunday.  The tracks were still holding up.  There are a few isolated spots where the deck is thin and leaves, debris are poking through.  In many of those spots just lifting a ski will get one through easily.
