One of the teams in the WI High School Cycling League is the Rhinelander Northwoods Composite Team (RNC).
The Rhinelander Northwoods Composite Team started in 2016 and welcomes students in 6-12th grades to participate. The season begins in mid-July and goes through late October. Riders have the opportunity to race in 5 races held on Sundays in the fall. Most practices are held at Washburn trails west of Rhinelander.
