Groomers were out tearing up and resetting the skate deck this afternoon/evening. The impact of the weekend ice/rain was minimal. Was able to grind up the deck and set tracks today. Given the meltdown that happened, tracks don’t look too bad. Took two passes to chew things up and one to set the tracks.
The trail was groomed today. This was the first grooming since the ice storm on Saturday. The trail has an icy surface that should hold up to fat tires and snowshoes. There are some areas where you would break thru the icy surface if you were to walk in boots, …

A solid 4 inches of new snow was groomed yesterday, Friday. With the sub-zero temps last night, it should be riding well today. There is sufficient snow in the bog to give you a magical feeling as you traverse the half-pipe snow tunnel.
